The Loire flows through Argentina at Balvanera

The longest river of Argentina is the Rio Paraná, but for one night, it will take second place to La Loire, as the Chantepleure explores a newly discovered tributary.
Balvanera, named for a historic barrio of Buenos Aires, showcases the porteña cuisine of Argentina, incorporating influences from many regions of the country. The menu is designed as a culinary journey, commencing with traditional small plates of seafood and composed vegetable dishes, sausages and empanadas, followed by signature generous servings of beef for which Argentina is rightly famous.
Wine pairings will (once again) showcase the remarkable versatility of Loire wines. The opportunity to drink two aged Cabernet Francs paired with Argentinian prepared beef is a not-to-be-missed event!
